Lost my virginity to a prostitute.
I know, you didn't want to hear that.
when you finally and officially exited the cult, whether it be by disfellowshipping, disassociating or fading - what was the first things you did that are considered "worldly"?.
for me, it was like crash landing on another planet that looked like earth but was completely different to the earth i knew.
i wanted to learn everything that i thought i already knew.. first things i did:.
Lost my virginity to a prostitute.
I know, you didn't want to hear that.
china has just switched on its 500 metre diameter radio telescope, nearly twice as large as the previous largest.
among other things it is tasked to do, it will eventually be programmed to look for and analyse radio waves that may have a non-natural origin.. so will the scientists manning this facility eventually hear yhwh and jesus having a chat?.

joe134cd,
If you gay then so be it. But the act itself disgusts me.
Viviane,
Why? What are you afraid of?
It's not fear Viviane, it's just an innate feeling that heterosexual men have of viewing gay men - not women - in the act of sex. This applies to politically liberal men.
i may not have put this in the correct spot, but i do think it's scandalous the way time gets counted now.
i've seen a cart at the edge of our farmer's market, never anyone close enough to talk.
yesterday was a drizzly day and there were two carts set up, covered in plastic, "witnessing" on their own.
As I said elsewhere, they'll have robotic trolleys with AI language skills and mechanical arms to hand out literature. The robot maintenance brothers will get to count their time.

Now I'm seeing gay ads on the upper right of this page.
just found out last night that our congo is starting a campaign to invite interested people to meetings.
the instructions for the campaign clear out that "interested" people are not just those whom we visit often or have bible studies with.
it includes and random stranger we may talk to and who may show a hint of interest on the religion.
Next they'll have robotic trolleys with AI language skills and mechanical arms to hand out literature.
l know animals do it but their animals.they dont live by a moral code.the thought of 2 men going for it is not normal.what are your thoughts?.
stan livedeath,
its just the words and phrases that dont seem right.
Words and phrases are given meaning by our feelings and our subconscious. Different people project different meanings into the same words.
another example. when one partner in a gay marriage refers to his partner as " my husband ". does that imply he regards himself as the wife in the relationship ?
I used to think that until I realized that they refer to each other as "my partner".
l know animals do it but their animals.they dont live by a moral code.the thought of 2 men going for it is not normal.what are your thoughts?.
Perry,
I think you have to first figure out by what authority you define "normal".
Yes I know Perry; the word of a demon god that executed people for carrying firewood on the Sabbath and forced a rape victim to marry her rapist is your standard of normality.
l know animals do it but their animals.they dont live by a moral code.the thought of 2 men going for it is not normal.what are your thoughts?.
It's normal for them.
And your saying that animals don't live by a moral code automatically implies that you consider homosexuality to be immoral for humans.
Your desire to view them as abnormal probably stems from the innate sense of revulsion that straight men feel when they see two other gay men kiss or something. However when straight men see two gay women kissing it excites them. Is that normal?
i asked an old jw friend of mine why so many baptized individuals leave the jw religion.
"did it ever occur to you, old friend, that maybe they know something that you don't know and have valid reasons for leaving?
", i asked.. his response set me back for an answer.
In my case it was the egotism of calling themselves "The Truth". Also, their worship of the "faithful and discrete slave". I was a celibate so the "get out and fornicate" excuse did not play a part. Neither was the 'stumbling' issue.
I simply felt very anxious about the mere fact that I was there. I even had anxiety attacks while out in field service.
